Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic software development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering software projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, quality assurance, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management efforts for software development projects, from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure that project objectives are well understood by the team.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and potential risks.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, stakeholders, and clients in a clear and timely manner.
• Collaborating with technical leads to allocating resources and tracking progress, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule.
• Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Monitor and report on project metrics, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or priorities.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that software development processes and methodologies are followed and continuously improved.
• Knowledge in business process analysis, business process modelling, business requirements, database design and strategic planning
• Experience in implementing scrum framework by leading scrum events, scrum values removing impediments and obstacles of development team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of creation and managing project proposals, SOW, Job Descriptions, business cases, project charters, WBS and project plans.
• Strong expertise in managing onsite and offshore teams’ coordination.
• Expertise in measuring project performance reviewing deviations from baseline scope, schedule, and cost.
• Effectively communicate project requirements with diverse groups within customer organizations to keep customers on plan and schedule.
• Ability to effectively improve internal processes and systems for more efficient customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience (8+ years) in project management within the software development industry.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or timelines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Prior experience in [specific technologies or domains relevant to your company] is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
