Job Overview:
As a Senior SRE, you will work with an existing team, which will be responsible for the Cyber Security, AWS Cloud, and internal support domains. Design and implement highly available and scalable systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of the company’s website or application.
Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in designing, developing and scaling software applications
- AWS Administration experience, optimum resource management/security
- Experience with Cloud Based (AWS) SDLC including Microservices / Containers / Kubernetes, Web API’s
- Comfortable scripting and debugging
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrable skills in architecting complex ecosystems.
- Understanding of security concepts: encryption, secure application development, defensive programming, software vulnerabilities and exploits, general issues in web security
- Experience delivering scalable Event Driven systems
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for critical systems.
- Monitor systems and applications, proactively identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks or availability issues.
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards to provide visibility into system health and performance.
- Conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Create and maintain documentation for system architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
