Requirement: Playwright Test Engineer

Work from home will be available on an optional basis.

Job Summary:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 4–4.5 years of QA experience, with a solid mix of manual testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle management.
• Good knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Experience contributing to or establishing QA best practices and governance frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL is a plus.
• Analyze requirements, create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing manually.
• Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug failed test cases, ensuring robust automation coverage.
• Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks.
• Define and implement QA processes, best practices, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with test governance policies and guidelines.
• Maintain traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure proper documentation.
• Review test cases, test results, and test coverage with the team to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Provide regular reports and metrics on test progress, quality KPIs, and defect trends.
• Support audits and ensure process adherence.

Nice to have:

• Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress.
