Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have full stack development knowledge in Code Igniter v4, with solid experience in PHP, CSS, JS, MySQL, and deployment on AWS Linux, with broad experience in system design and architecture. The candidate should be able to work on local development environments hosted in Docker contrianers.

Requirements:

• Advanced experience in PHP (minimum 5 – 7 years of commercial experience), with 5 years experience in CodeIgniter framework version 3 or 4.
• CodeIgniter experience must be within the last 2 years. Worked with DevOps tools chains and experienced in CI/CD.
• Used to working with Agile development processes, and working with associated toolsets – JIRA, Confluence,
• GitHub/ Bitbucket. Experience in Bitbucket Pipelines is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL and relational database.
• Understanding of best practices for REST API development architecture with experience in migrating monolithic architecture to Microservice architecture.
• Working knowledge of design patterns for web and Microservice development.
• Knowledge and experience in AWS suite of tools and services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and standards reference security by design.
• Must be self-motivated, and able to multitask across projects.
