Job Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience to lead our finance & accounts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Graduate in Commerce and a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, income-tax, GST, Company Law and FEM Act.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting/payroll software, MS Office, MS Excel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to support business decision-making.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking and treasury management.
- Taxation: Manage tax compliance under income tax, GST ensuring timely submission of returns/ payment of taxes and dealing with the tax authorities in assessment proceedings.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and compliance under Company Law, EPF/ESI & other regulatory requirements.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, dealing with the Banks for funds requirement aligning with business objectives.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
